Linda is a Chemical Engineer. She is a Director of Process Development. Her goal is to take the pilot plant up to full scale manufacturing and ensuring safe processes and same product. It is like baking a batch of cookies and then trying to produce 1,000 cookies a day that are all exactly the same and as delicious. Linda has a BS from UCLA in Chemical Engineering. The reason she loved Chemical Engineering is she loved math and science and applying it to the real world. She took an engineering lab class and a fermentation lab which made her want to go into Chemical Engineering. Linda believes that an engineering degree gives you a great foundation. She loves her job because of the experiences and the people she works with. Linda enjoys seeing her product being made and how it helps the lives of those who use it. |
