Khanh is a civil engineer that works on environmental structures at LEE & RO, Inc. LEE & RO, Inc. is a large company that provides consulting, planning, engineering and construction management services for governmental, public and design-build entities. She helps design pipes and other projects for public works.
Khanh wanted to become an engineer because she loves math and physics. She loves that there is applied math in engineering and lots of different projects to work on. She went to UCLA and graduated with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with concentration Structural and Environmental Engineering. Khanh took calculus, physics, concrete design, structural design, filter design, material and water treatment process classes at UCLA. Khanh is currently working on a sewer pipeline improvement for the Orange County Sanitary District. Her responsibilities in the project include writing technical memorandums, preparing construction cost estimates and organizing meeting minutes and action logs. The best part about her job is that she gets to see what she is building and gets to see her project and creations finished. She loves to be outside. |
